Regina Experimental Biarritz is taking a break
Experimental announces the launch of renovation work on the façade of the Regina Experimental in Biarritz, an architectural gem on the Basque coast. Built in 1907 by architect and landscape designer Henry Martinet, this Belle Époque building with its majestic lines had never undergone such a restoration since its creation.
The renovation of the façade, scheduled for completion in spring 2026, will restore this iconic hotel to its historic glory.
The same spirit, just across the street: LE GARAGE BIARRITZ
In the meantime, Experimental invites guests to stay just across the street, at its other Biarritz address: Le Garage. This private mansion with 27 rooms and suites, terraces and swimming pool, is both avant-garde and steeped in history. Formerly a Belle Époque garage, it has been transformed into an uncomplicated luxury hotel, ideal for living the Biarrote experience to the full, combining timeless elegance with a convivial atmosphere.
